NJ Molloy is the pen name of a retired software engineer who spent sixteen summers in County Offaly absorbing Ireland from the inside. The name honours his mother, Mary Josephine Molloy, who carried Ireland with her always. The world of Inis Fíor is built from those summers, from the myth, from the rain, and from sixty years of reading everything he could find.
